Via Tender: Search paging count issues

I wrote a list wrapper to access search results through, that is supposed to automatically pull and cache new pages of results as needed, but in testing it, I'm running into problems with the API calls. The first page returns a full 20 items, the second returns something less, and the third returns nothing. After some playing around, the largest second page result I could come up with was for 'Night', with 12 items, while the search claims it should return 231 total.
