Via Tender: Passing API-Key as an Header Value

Hey everyone,
what do you think about the ability to pass the api_key as an header value in addition to a get param?
when developing a wrapper for the API in a specific language i would find it useful to set the header-value once in my client and then using very clean urls just with the needed parameters.
