We don't have an overview

This default line probably shouldn't be served through the API to applications requesting metadata.
It ended up on my Plex as the default overview for all the episodes that don't have one from TVDB cached on their end.

See attached snip for how silly but more importantly vague and nondescript it looks. "Help us expand our database by adding one." it says. "Where?" a normal user might ask...

It's not added by default, a user would have entered it. If you find any content issues like this, it's best to report them (using the "Report" button on the website) and a moderator can empty the overviews. You can of course also remove them yourself if you want.

Fair enough, my apologies. The sentence looked like a default or placeholder item.
I have attempted a removal myself, though it seems that there is a certain delay before changes appear on the website. Is that correct? -

No worries.
The API has an 8 hour cache. On top of that I do believe Plex caches data to some extent so you might need to check up on that separately as well. I am not sure exactly how that works client side.
