Via Tender: Accessing the TMDb API using HTTPS

Hi,
I develop a website which uses the TMDb API, but I use HTTPS. The TMDb API (from what I saw in the documentation) is only accessible using HTTP. With Firefox 14.0.1 and Safari 6, everything works as it should. Problems arise when I try to use Chrome 21.0.1180.79, which detects that I make an AJAX call to an HTTP URL (TMDb) from an HTTPS website. The following warning is visible in the WebKit inspector:
[blocked] The page at MY_WEBSITE_URL ran insecure content from TMDB_URL
Is there a way to access TMDb using HTTPS?
