Some season finales and openings are double-long episodes. So, the opening will be episode 1 and 2. The finale will be episode 23 and 24.
In those cases the runtime will be double a regular episode. However, the only NFO files containing scraped runtimes are the series NFO files. Single episode NFO files may have runtimes, based on the user's media manager, that are taken directly from the video file.
I don't see a good reason to include individual episode runtimes. Those runtimes are taken locally from existing files.
There won't be a good reason for a media manager plugin maintainer or coder to scrape the data from us that could much easier be taken locally. Saving episode level runtimes in the movie db, in my opinion, will be data that is never important and rarely updated.

I would like to add strong support for getting this implemented and available in the next milestone following Captain America. Currently, there are no viable sources for per-episode runtime data except IMDB (which doesn't appear to have any official API).
With sites like Trakt.tv allowing users to track what they watch and generate statistics based on episode durations, it's too bad they have to fall back on series-level runtimes. This season has been particularly illustrative of series-only runtime limitations—already I have encountered two shows with double-length episodes (Rewrite & [the new ABC] BattleBots), and one which changed the episode duration from season 1 to season 2 (Mr. Robot, 49m -> 64m).

I have some other higher priority items to complete right now but this ticket is on my radar. Hopefully I'll have time to take a look at it within the next few months.
