Via Tender: Allow companies to have alternative names

Reported by Travis Bell | September 26th, 2011 @ 08:41 AM | in Captain America (closed)

Assigned to Tender discussion #7. As reported in Tender:

Normally i would go: when in doubt head for IMDB, but it's not much of a help here.

Basically they have stuff like this for Exquisite:
http://www.imdb.com/company/co0117500/
http://www.imdb.com/company/co0177969/
http://www.imdb.com/company/co0250627/

where IAFD is showing this:
http://www.iafd.com/distrib.rme/distrib=997/exquisite.htm

So what do we do here? Am I to follow IAFD on this, or do we re-create the mess that is IMDB?
This isn't the only company with this issue, elegant angel is another production company with 3 different names.

The ideal situation would be something of a "also known as" solution like we have with actors, but for now I would be happy with some sort of guideline on what to do.
